Little Extra Stories: Kathy’s Swag

Katherine (Swag Name Katlindvig) is from Colorado Springs, CO and has been a Swagbucks member for nearly four years. She doesn’t remember how she found Swagbucks but we won’t hold it against her. Katherine always does the Daily Poll and loves to watch videos. When she has time she does surveys.

In the past, Katherine usually redeemed her SB for Petco gift cards which provided her with all the cat treats, food, and litter she needed for a month but now she has a grown daughter who needs some help. Katherine’s daughter just graduated college as a medical assistant/phlebotomist (that means she draws blood from patients for various lab tests and procedures) but is currently having trouble trying to find a job in the medical field. She currently works at a McDonald’s and isn’t getting many hours while trying to pay a mortgage.

Mom to the rescue!

“I have been cashing my SB in for Walmart gift cards and sending them to her with coupons I have clipped for her. Also using my Petco gift cards to order pet food online (earning more SB) and having it delivered. I would love to do that with the Walmart gift cards but it’s kind of hard to have milk, eggs, and meat shipped. Thank you Swagbucks for helping us at this difficult time. It is such a blessing.”

First and foremost, congrats to you daughter on completing her degree. I’m sure her dream job in the medical field is right around the corner. But you, Katherine, what an amazing and dedicated mom you are. It just goes to show you that your children are never too old to accept a mother’s nurturing and love. Thank you for sharing your story Katherine and here is your 1,000 SB. Make sure to let us know when your daughter lands her dream job and send our regards to your cat (you forgot to tell us the cat’s name).
